Dr. Seuss Week is loads of fun for First Grade!  We were full of color today! After listening to “My Many Colored Days” by Dr. Seuss, we wrote about what different colors made them feel like and completed a painting project using a variety of colors, since we all feel different emotions throughout the day!
We not only had Thing 1 and Thing 2, but Thing 3, 4, 5, and 6 as well!
First grade had a guest reader this morning! Thank you to our classroom sponsors, all of the first graders received their own copies of “If You Give a Mouse a Brownie” and “Froggy Builds a Snowman”. We also celebrated the end of our reading challenge, Leaping through Pages in February, with a green snack!

They also wrote letters to themselves to read on the next Leap Day!
They will be in 5th grade when the next Leap Day comes around!
